Child care management software provider OWNA has confirmed that it has acquired Penelope QIP, a leading provider of online QIP services and trusted quality improvement experts.
The deal, which has now closed, will see Penelope QIP retain its brand and identity as a separate application, however premium customers of OWNA’s platform will benefit from a direct integration at no extra cost.
“We are very excited to welcome Penelope QIP into the OWNA family,” Kheang Ly, CEO and Founder of OWNA said.
“Our aim from day one has been to have the most comprehensive and highest quality software in the early education sector. Penelope QIP certainly aligns perfectly with the OWNA mission and plays an integral and complementary role across our user community.”
“The majority of early education centres in Australia aren’t regularly self-assessing their performance,” Steve Collier, Director at Penelope QIP.
“By teaming up with OWNA we hope to bring the great tools developed for Penelope QIP to more educators and help improve quality throughout the sector”,
Penelope QIP was founded in 2015 and currently supports more than 2,500 services and 5,000 educators to drive better quality outcomes by providing modules for self assessing against the National Quality Framework, identifying strengths and opportunities for improvement as well as updating and building tasks within the quality improvement plan (QIP) on a secure, easy to use online platform.
OWNA, an all in one child care management platform, was founded in 2016 and supports over 2,500 services across its range of features and products.
