JACKSON, MI – Jackson County residents interested in learning about starting or expamding a childcare center can get more information at an access fair coming up in Jackson.
The Jackson County Child Care Access Fair is planned for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, on the second floor of Jackson City Hall, 161 W. Michigan Ave. The fair is organized by the State of Michigan LARA Department in collaboration with the city of Jackson and other community partners.
This is an opportunity for residents to learn everything they need to know to start and maintain a childcare business, city officials said.
At the access fair, guests can connect with childcare partners to learn how to start or expand a career in childcare, officials said. Fair participants will include Child Care Licensing Bureau, city of Jackson, Mi Registry, FCF, Jackson County Health Department, Food Program, Child Care Network, Michigan Works and more.
