Best Child Care Facility: Small Wonders – InForum

How does winning Best Child Care Facility again this year feel?

“I think it really means we do impact the community, and we give families in the community what they’re looking for,” Executive Director Lynnette Lein said. “It means that the passion of our teachers is noticed. For me personally, it means people understand that my life revolves around our families because these little children are the best. They really are treasures of the Lord.”

What lasting legacy does Small Wonders leave on kids who’ve been cared for at your facilities?

“Part of our legacy has always been that we don’t operate as a big business, but rather as working toward a mission,” Lein said. “One awesome thing is when Small Wonders children apply to come work for us. I personally have the joy in consistently running into past and present Small Wonders families in the FM area and I enjoy talking to them about the positive experiences and memories the children have from their time with us. To know we give the parents a school that they feel great about and enjoy leaving their children means we are all working together as a family with the childrens’ best interests in all our hearts.”
