We are growing and looking for one full-time permanent Administrative Professional to join our small but mighty administrative team. This position is responsible for various administrative support services to Centre staff and management. The position will be located out of one of our Johnson Ave office in Sault Ste. Marie, with support to the other SSM office.

What we need from you:
– College diploma in business or health/office administration or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
– Minimum 3 years’ experience providing administrative support in a fast- paced office setting is preferred
– Previous experience in healthcare setting is preferred
– Demonstrated advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
– Ability to type accurately at 50 wpm
– Self-motivated and able to work independently, balanced with working collaboratively within a team.
– Ability to organize, and prioritize competing duties for various individuals in a fast-paced environment
– Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
– Ability to ‘think on your feet’ in challenging situations, and remain calm under pressure
– High level attention to detail and superior problem-solving skills
– Satisfactory criminal background check and vulnerable sector screen (CPIC)
– Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination is required.
– Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle may be required.
– Willingness to occasionally work flexible hours
– Ability to communicate in both official languages is an asset.
THRIVE Child Development Centre/Centre de développement de l’enfant is an incorporated, non-profit Children’s Treatment Centre made up of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech-language pathologists, social workers, therapy assistants, early childhood educators, ABA Therapists and support staff. We provide inter-disciplinary pediatric rehabilitation, respite care, an on-site childcare program and resource support to community childcare centres in Sault Ste. Marie and throughout the District of Algoma.
